Streaming audio over network with minimum latency

Our client wanted a PoC to examine the possibility of streaming audio of a video playing on screen, where this audio can be sent over local network and then received by remote player connected to the same network (WiFi).

In the video, we have

1- An example video playing on a device.

2- Analogue audio is fed to a Raspberry Pi, you can see the Raspberry Pi screen.

3- Raspberry Pi compressing the audio and then streaming it over network.

4- Another device is listening to the audio broadcast and playing the audio signal.
